Default new member glad to be on!!!

will be vacationing this next week in destin sail fish yacht club in the harbor!first time inshore fishing at destin so any tips will be greatly appreciated!! i am a huge trout and redfish guy and love to fish under the lights!! also no boat... but definitely not scared to wade after them too!

Welcome ,You can wade the flat by the Coast Guard station , Mid Bay bridge also has some great wade fishing. Go to Half Hitch bait and tackle in Destin gets some live shrimp , you'll catch some fish .

Lights at night for trout

Maybe try some of the marinas at night when they sort of close down .
And fish the lights.
Some marinas don't like you to fish off the pier . But when they close down, you were never there

Welcome and War Eagle. Good luck with your fishing. I started fishing in Destin on a vacation several years back.
Wade Fishing led to Kayak fishing led to small center console which now has me addicted to overnight swordfish trips....
