Default Navarre Beach?

I'm coming from Louisiana on wednesday-saturday, Is it worth it to bring my poles to fish the beach? What can you catch this time of year and what kind of baits do you throw? Is there anywhere else to wade besides the beach? Like on the back side of the island?
Thanks,
Bob

There is the pier there, if youre a fisherman it would be hard to stay in Navarre Beach and not at least spend a couple hours fishing the pier.

There are some grass flats in the sound that can produce first thing in the AM or right before dark, but the bugs will carry you away in the PM. Look on Google Earth to find these spots.
