Default Naples, FL: anybody have experience there?

Going to Naples this Thurs-Sun and have access to a 23' fishing boat.

Does anybody have experience fishing there this time of year? If so, any species/techniques/etc. that you can share with me?

TIA

I bought a boat there and brought it back by way of the Gulf two years ago. Lots of good fishing - just ask what to target once you get there. I was impressed with Naples and wish I had had more time to play there.

I had a great time fishing for snook a couple of years ago on a guided trip with Capt. Chris McCubbin ( 239-404-6255). Summer is their "off season" in Naples for tourism. You may be able to get better rates as their tourist season ended in April. Chris told me that it is really frustrating as a fishing guide in the summer because the fishing is fantastic and they have no customers! Apparently , snook and small tarpon invade the subdivision canals and fishing the lighted docks at night with topwaters , jigs, and live bait is the ticket.
