Default Mosquito Lagoon Guides

Hey guys, my dad, brother, and I are making a trip to Florida over Christmas break to watch my little sister play some soccer. While there we are hoping that we can catch a guide one day in Mosquito Lagoon/Indian River and catch some redfish. Anyone have any suggestions for guides? We are not locked down on Mosquito Lagoon if anyone has somewhere else/someone else they think would produce better. Thanks.

P.S. - We're bass fisherman from Texas that love a good redfish every now and again.

Suwannee Florida cannot be beat when talking about cold weather Redfish!!!!! They have a fish camp there called Bills Fish Camp that has rooms for rent and plenty of boat storage space. From the time you leave the dock at the fish camp until you have lines in the water...maybe 5 minutes. Went last year and caught 50 Redfish in 2 days and 30 were keeper size. PM me if you need any more info.

I grew up on the IRL and I would say if you wanna catch Reds stay in Mosquito Lagoon or take Reel Mccoys advice. Never seen a whole lotta Reds come outta the IRL consistently.

Also might want to post up on the FL Sportsman forum in the East Central region since that's where Mosquito Lagoon is. There is a lot of good fishing around that area though, good luck.

we used a guy named Mulvy when we were there and were very happy with him. we also got to see a launch of a weather satellite while out on the lagoon. pretty good trip overall, several oversize reds and huge gafftops.
