mid day fishing
I fish real early in the mornings but tomorrow I am taking a friend out that can't get out until after 9 am. We were wanting to hit the bay because usually after 10 am I have no luck on the flats. I only have 2 numbers to places in the bay that only yield small snapper and sharks. Do y'all have any advice you can give me to catch anything we could bring home or get some bull reds to bite? Thank you for your time and response.

Its been tough with the high tides being so early in the am.
Yesterday at 11 am the tide was way out. There was a huge bull red swimming slow next to the dock. He looked sick with his color washed out and wouldn't eat anything. Last week I caught a 26" trout that looked sick also. He didn't fight at all and came in too easy. I had to revive it in the livewell on the dock before I let it go.
