Looking for flounder gigging info/tips
As the title states looking to do a little gigging this year. Never really done it before. Is now the time of the year when they’re coming into the bays?
What about idea conditions/weather? Cooler, warmer? How about November? Good month?
Any advice would be great.

You wont find any secrets on here. It takes years to learn the ways. Get a buddy and start shallow water at night with good light. Or try to go with someone that gigs. And get a cossons gig they are the best jim might have more suggestions. Here's cossons # for gigs.

Likely you'll need to just get out there with lights and start looking around. They winter in the Gulf, so theoretically they should be moving out of the upper bays and migrating that direction at some point, but I have not been able to successfully target them (I'm talking rod and reel)... we've caught some but it's been happenstance while fishing for other things. Good luck!
