Default Looking for Company

Hello all,

My name is Andrew. I'm twenty-seven years old. I injured my left hand pretty severely in January and have been out of work on disability since... I'm returning to work in a few weeks. In my time off I took up fishing as a hobby (made it work one handed, can even throw a bait net). I've learned a lot from reading these forums and if choose putting time in.

I live a few blocks from Shoreline park so I usually go there and walk West towards Deer Point and fish the docks. Occasionally I'll go wade the flats at national seashore. I'd love to have some company sometime, especially if I can learn something. I haven't been catching anything the past week. I believe it's either too hot or too many baitfish? (There have been a ton, bait balls everywhere. I have yet to catch more than five fish and I often go out for eight to twelve hours at a time.
I just recently got to where I can throw the bait net. Any recommendations on what bait I should be targeting?

Again, I'd love to have some company! If anyone with a boat is nice enough to offer I can pay gas etc.

Thanks!

-- wasn't sure if this was the right forum for wade fishing?

hey Jason sorry about the injury, but I feel your pain. I messed up my finger and have been out on disability myself for the last 6 weeks. I love fishing and diving. Not sure when I will be heading back to work, so for now I have time to fish. Oh I do have a boat . Let me know maybe we can get out.
