Default Launch question

I'm staying at SanDestin and will be keeping my boat on the Eastern edge of Destin on the trailer. I've fished the bay for years from kayak and my boat but have only launched the boat in Niceville.

Is my best bet to go way East to the launch at 393, should I launch at Joe's Bayou, or is there another place I don't know about to get it in the water quicker? I need to be able to come and go at odd hours, will be fishing much of the bay and just want it in the water as quick as possible.

Joe's cost $15 now, I think. Up from $10 last year. Nice ramps and good parking. Good central location. And if you troll some large 6" Bombers thru short channel you'll hit on sone Bull Reds.

Im not sure where 393 is...are you talking about 331? Hogtown Bayou is a nice ramp and should.be pretty close to you. I'd slam my nuts in a door before hauling a boat through Destin right now. It's been horrible the last few weeks.

Thanks for the help. 393 is the road that runs to the Hogtown Bayou ramp, I think. Are they both open 24 hrs? Are there any other options?

I would recommend 393 at Cesna Landing if you are staying in Sandestin. It's open 24 hrs. If you are in the actual resort of Sandestin they do have a marina. No idea what their policies are though.

Thanks again. I've spent lots of time there over the years, just never brought the boat, only yaks. There is no real launch there, just a sandy beach for launching yaks. I'll give Cessna a try! Really appreciate your advice.
