Default Ladyfish, a couple questions

I read someones post on here and have had two people on the 3mb say the best spot to get them is the GB side of the 3mile bridge close to shore but was out there a week ago and just couldnt find the damn things

so is that spot consistent with them? and is there a best tide to find them there?

i ran out of everything else i had for shark bait and figured i would try to get at least a few of those stuck in the freezer for bait. lately ive been going after blacktips and have been sticking with white trout, menhaden and spanish leftovers but for some reason the last few times i went out i just wasnt having the best luck with the trout and couldnt seem to find a spot where i could reach the menhaden from shore with the net so i am now out of bait and thought about trying ladyfish instead of trout and menhaden next time

The problem is that you're TRYING to catch the slimy beasties! Whenever I'm trying to catch anything else, I can't get away from them.

Try wading around Deer Point in Gulf Breeze.

Best way and place to catch them... Go to the Navarre pier... Early morning... the trick is to try to catch Spanish! lol

i went out to perdido to try a little surf fishing (damn seaweed made it near impossible)

tossed on a yozuri and had two ladyfish both of which spit that thing right back at my face, then nothing, not a bite, there were hundreds of baitfish, i mean schools of them so large it looked like more patches of seaweed til they scattered in different directions but nothing feeding on them, tried at the 17th street boat launch for some trout and the current was fierce and got skunked, just a few croaker, so ill have croaker for shark bait tonight, unless i get lucky and find myself a nice little window of white trout tonight
