Default Jim's Fish Camp area...

I might get the opportunity to go out with a friend in his boat in the next couple days. He's mainly a freshwater guy and I've never really fished this area. I've had some success with topwater early in the morning. Anyway, we're planning on launching in the morning and trying for specks, bass, redfish, or whatever will bite.

Any and all help would be appreciated so we don't waste time and burn fuel for no reason. General locations would be great. I know getting info out of the 'seasoned Escambia fishermen' is like prying open an oyster, but I figured it was worth a shot. oke

Thanks a ton...

When in there, I like....

Topwater ealry in the morning

Purple snagless sally with white twin tail trailer "after the water starts ripplin"

black grape worm, red shad worm, or watermelon zoom fluke around the stumps @ the power lines
