Default Importing numbers onto Navionics Gold Card

I just got my Navionics Gold card and am trying to load some of the public reef numbers on it. I have the files on my PC, but I can't find instructions anywhere as to how to properly load that info onto the micro SD.

Can't believe you said you might be wrong, you might be but not this time. Basically those cards are protected from writing on or copying.

The process to add numbers is
If the machine has 2 slots, then put the numbers on an SD card and place the card in the second slot. When you start the machine, either the number will load automatically or ask if you want to merge the data or replace it. The GPS points shown on the display are stored in the memory of the machine, not on a card.

If the machine has 1 slot, remove the navionics card and replace it with the one with the numbers on it. Turn the machine on , merge the number, turn off and replace the navionic card back in. Done

Now if you don't know how to put numbers on a SD card- that is another process- either call me or pm me and I can walk you though it.

If it's a Lowrance Elite 5 you have to use an SD card of 2gb or less .... bigger cards won't work. I don't know about other Lowrance models.
