Default I'd love to get my dad some Reds during his visit

My dad is going to be dow in a few weeks from Pennsylvania. he keeps his boat in NJ an is dying to get into some specs and reds here in Pensacola. I've been able to consistently catch specs on every trip, especially in escambia bay/River, but the reds have been on and off. I'm hoping to get my dad some reds when he is here. We usually go on a moving tide and use gulp shrimp and fish flats and the river openings in escambia bay, but most days we just catch specs and no reds. Any tips, time of day, bait would be greatful. I need to stick with inshore fishing as my boat is small.
