How to start tournament inshore fishing?
I have learned tournament bass fishing and would like to start fishing inshore series tournament or redfish tournaments. In the bass fishing series you can join a tourney as a Co-Angler and learn from boaters until you are comfortable enough with your skills to start fishing as a boater. I am not new to inshore by any means but I'm definitely not up to par with the tournament guys. So my question is is there any series or tours that offer a "Co" spot to learn more instead of everything being a team series. Also do you know of any tournaments around the AL coast/ Pensacola coasts?

The Emerald Coast Redfish Club has a series all summer at different destinations from navarre to Panama City. You might be able to jump on one of those boats to feel it out. Check them out at www.theredfishclub.com. Some of the best redfish anglers around.
