Default How has Ono pier lights been lately?

I am going to hit them up tonight and freeline some live shrimp. I got one pier in particular that is awesome and if I do everything correctly, I should get my limit. When you guys freeline, do you just use hook and shrimp. No split shots, etc.

Try small topwaters in the dark around the outer edges of the lighted area - KABLAMMM!

Default Good thread, still having luck around Ono pier lights?

Hi, new to the forum and new to inshore fishing in Perdido Bay. Wondering if the Ono piers are still producing? Thanks.

Mind sharing what bait you're using? Topwater?

I used a combination of free lined live shrimp, new penny gulp shrimp under a popping cork, a badonkadonk. I would swap back and forth between the three.

I caught trout and ladyfish on the badonkadonk
mainly reds on the gulp shrimp
trout on the live shrimp.
