Default Honey holes? ha

I just moved here from NC and im wondering where in the santa rosa sound are good fishing spots for kayaks. I live on the north side of it and i live right on a grass flat but its not that active. And what are some good plastics that i could use. Thanks, Nick.

Around Navarre Bridge works for yaks(Never really fish from yaks though). As for plastics Soft i use gulp shrimp(White pearl or New penny) and the gulp shads. A spook jr. bone color or a gold spoon also work well. In the end it still comes down to personal pref though

Ive been catching a lot of ladyfish in the mornings lately. I actually did go out in a yak today about 800 meters away from Navarre bridge and pulled in 4 decent trout using Gulp Shads Nuke chicken color.

hit the docks on the north side of the sound. fish every bit of the dock. use a gulp shrimp/jerkshad in new penny, camo, natural, or molting on a jig head. just use the right size head for the weather conditions. if windy throw a bigger one calm a lighter one.
