Arrow FWB Boat Ramp/Area Question

not sure if this is the best section to post and ask... i have a 16 ft bass boat and its time to get a new prop. there is a boat ramp right down the road from my house. its the one by the ihop on 98. is that area faily long and deep enough to make some straight line runs to check RPMs and play with trim? Also, if i were to stop and fish around there...would it be worth my time. lure would be artifical (suggestions welcome) and it would be bass tackle so i guess the fish i would be after would be reds, specks, flounder, spanish, blues and whatever else would be there lol but my main focus right now is the numbers for the engine so i can pick my new prob.

I use that ramp all the time. Its around 3 feet out to the channel then in the channel its 20 plus deep. You can run West for as far as you want with no problems, just watch the channel markers.

Ya, you shouldn't have a problem. Gets a little shallow for my big boat in the winter but my 15 footer does fine.
