Default Ft. Mcrea Redfish

Planning on camping at Ft. Mcrea Mon. and Tues. night the past few times i've camped there throwing live shrimp in the channel between the island has only gotten me catfish, whiting, rays, and white trout. Is there a better bait that i can use to get into the redfish or a better place on the island to fish at night.

Thanks
