FRESHWATER INFLUENCE ON FISHING
After several storms and the rivers and tributaries start dumping freshwater into the bay. I know several things occur.
1) Baitfish, crabs and grass shrimp are washed into the bay and causing a feed to turn on for a while.
2) The water clarity is affected.
3) When does to much freshwater occur and cause certain species to leave the area and become more difficult.

RE: FRESHWATER INFLUENCE ON FISHING
Can't tell you when too much is too much, but can tell you that your most of your game fish avoid high concentrations of fresh water and after a heavy rain they move farther out into the bays and intercoastal. The last heavy rain from Gastov drove flounders out of the river mouths into the bay area tonearer the pass. This was the firstreally good flounder fishing I have seen all year.
