What strength Flouro do you like with 15lb braid?

10, 12, or 14 with either a swivel to connect or a uni to uni knot. You can go heavier but I keep it light for trout or reds

I usually just match my leader with my main line or smaller - 12 to 15 pound flouro leader on 20lb braid main line, depending on water clarity and the size of fish I'm after... if I'm bottom fishing a wreck I'll go with 20lb due to all the contact with structure. I use a swivel to hold the weight on the bottom rig, but otherwise I don't personally like using them... I feel like they are too visible and it messes with my confidence, and that messes with my fishing. I throw a gold spoon with a baitcaster and I don't find that I really need the swivel, even for that. I tie the flouro to the braid with a double-uni.
