Default "Fishing Trail" East of Gulf Breeze

When viewing sattelite images of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, I noticed a feature labeled "fishing trail" that runs parallel to the beach, East of Gulf Breeze.

There appear to be several access points, and a parking area a few miles away.

Are these sections of beach good places to wade & fish in the Spring?

Are some sections more productive than others?

The Western portions appear to remain shallow a long ways out.

Any information or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Are you talking about Naval Live Oaks Natl SeaShore? Sounds like it, and yes some decent grass flats there.

That's it.

Google shows both names, with "Naval Live Oaks" a bit above and to the East.

Are the Trout & Redfish, available in Spring, before the grass has grown back?
