Default Fishing Tips

My father just moved to Foley, AL, and I am heading there this weekend. I fish quite a bit in Louisiana. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on where we could fish. I went this past weekend, and we stopped by a park with a little pier in Wolf Bay. We were thinking of trying there at night. I know there must be plenty of places to fish from shore, we just aren't very familiar with the area. From reading this site, I believe I have all the right tackle; Gulps, popping corks, swimbaits, etc. Just need a few pointers on places we can try, and good baits for the area. TIA.

Look at Inshore Reports the next topic after your post. Basstracker has a post that gives info about Wolf Bay. I'm not familiar with that area but several of the guys on PFF fish around Perdido and you can find their posts if you do a little searching. As for bait it depends on what you are going after. I like shrimp but I sometimes play with some jigs/lures. If you go in the evening look under the lights.

Good luck.

Thanks for the tips. We are heading out tomorrow evening. I think we are going to a little pier at what my folks call Lake Park. Its on the west side of Wolf Bay.
