Fishing the sound Riverhawk B60- Mercury 110 9.8
Hey everyone, I'm just finishing my first week of vacation in Navarre, coming back in 6 weeks and want to get off the surf and try fishing the sound a bit. I've got a Riverhawk B60 boat with an old Mercury 110 9.8HP tiller that I use back home, would it be a death wish to try and get this small boat out in the sound, or would it do okay? The boat is in good shape, but I've got very little experience in salt water, all my time has been spent in small lakes/ponds near Atlanta.

Watch the wind and you’ll be fine. Meaning unless the wind is out of the east or west, there is always a calm side of the sound. Even if it is east or West, as long as it isn’t strong, you’ll be good.
That rig is bigger than a kayak and they’re in the sound everyday.
