Default fishing anyone ?

I was wondering if anyone has fished the sound toward fort walton area ? Or fished rocky bayou area ? I want to go out and seeing if anyone has been out lately to see if the trout and reds move back to the flats ... Not looking for honey holes just want to know if I should expect to see life or not ! Thanks

We fished the sound in Navarre yesterday for 12 hours hitting every dock and grass flat. Came away with two trout in the morning one on live shrimp and one on gulp. Both bottom rigs. After that a few bites but nothing landed. Saw hardly no bait fish around. Good luck.

If you fish the shallows between Boggy and Rocky you will get trout and reds. With the wind the way it is right now you can just drift from Rocky to Boggy, across the channel and into the flats on the west side.
Good luck! Have fun.

I fish FWB area and Destin all the time!! This time of year is the best time to burn up the Trout around docks on the sound! I like the deeper docks the ones closes to the ship channels! My best baits are shrimp on popping cork, or if the current is flowing real good let it free line down the docks! Live or artificial baits work great!! Good luck brother
