Make sure to take this pic 'cause we had no idee...
Was thinking maybe a baby mutton or lane...? Maybe juvenile markings that are lost later beeliner?
Caught inside Pensacola pass.

Lol...he a great fishin buddy. Local and very determined, experienced fisherman. He is like me, just wants to fish out the rest of the good days!

Thx for the replies, snapper been wrecking us inshore. Never seen one that small.
We been hitting on the mangroves also...

Very nice mangrove. Are they spawning and plentiful on the nearshore wrecks yet? Seems like maybe June or July the big ones are thick out there
