Looks like my old Si-Tex has finally died after 9-10 good years so I'm in the market for some new electronics. I mainly fish in the local bays to the Pass but will venture out a few miles off-shore if the conditions permit. Can anyone suggest a decent, sub $1,000, preferably sub $700 actually, fish finder. I'm really interested in a combo bottom finder, GPS and mapper since my Si-Tex mapper died recently too. Oh yeah, a color screen is a must. Thanks.

RE: Fish Finder
why not get a sitex compatable to your transducer will say you some money possible and you wont have to run that wire again, but if you choose to change I would go with the humminbird side finder one of the 700 series.
