Default First timer in the East Bay

I plan on fishing in the East Bay for the first time on saturday. Judging by satalite, I will probably go for the flats on the south edge. Would the inlet where the mouth of the Balckwater hits the bay be a decent spot? Or would the water be too fresh?

Anyone have any suggestions on where to go? I'd like to get some snapper if possible, but other than that I'll be aiming for trout or red drum.

Thanks in advance

Like i said i havent fished over there. The only boat ramp I found on satellite is the east river ramp off 87.
