Default First time in a long time...

What’s up guys? I used to be active here years ago but haven’t made it down to the coast in 5 years now. As of 45 minutes ago looks like I’ll be down for the long weekend and am hoping to fish a little bit. I used to take my hobie offshore/inshore, but sadly the yak is long sold in trade for a drift boat. Is there anywhere in/near Choctaw bay worth wading for reds and specks this time of year? The surf is an option too.

I don't know about Choctaw area, but your options might be a bit limited for wading this time of year. it's been a mild winter so far, you might find some fish on the flats, I really don't know. I have not been catching much on the few trips I have had time for in the upper bays and lower rivers... fish have to be somewhere. Good luck, wish I could help ya.
