Default First fish in Florida

Nothing spectacular tonight, but I caught a catfish and Im okay with that
Ate that badboy all up.

And then I caught this, anyone have any idea what the hell it is?

I was using shrimp but didn't manage to get any reds, maybe night fishing is my issue.

How did the catfish taste?

2nd pic is a pin fish or piggy... Bait for the reds you were trying to catch! Night fishing is just fine.

Catfish was amazing, my second favorite type of fish to eat.

I do fish in a sound, wonder if maybe the shallow water could be an issue. I wouldnt think i would get many big ones through here considering.

You're one of the few people that I know of that enjoyed eating a saltwater catfish! I do love em out of fresh water though. The ever so elusive redfish will show up with time!

I've caught quite a few big reds in less than a foot of water. Use those pigfish for live bait.

Congrats on your first catch fish. I am glad that you had a good catch. I have never tried fishing so I guess, I don't know the feeling but I am very happy for you.
