Default Finally moved down here &

Finally moved down here & am about to dump some of my bass fishing stuff for inshore fishing stuff. We fish in Weeks & Fish River. Plus a little nearshore. What bass lures do I need to keep ? lip-less ones? Any top water ones?
Thanks

Top Water will be good during the morning, when the water is like glass. Lot's of people like lip-less.

Basically the only bass-specific baits I can think of that won't do *that* good, would be lipped crankbaits, spinners/buzz baits and soft plastics, with the exception of flukes.

Bass stuff is inshore fishing stuff! Keep the spooks, flukes, lipless cranks, spinnerbaits (yep, I said that) swimbaits too! Lipped cranks get used too, just not many folks like them. Only thing I can think to not put in the box would be buzzbaits, creature baits, worms and jigs. Everything else is a keeper....

it may be different on the fl coast, but in my 50 + yrs of fishing the tx coast, i've decided that on any given day, any given fish will bite any given lure that is put in front of it. i wouldn't get rid of any of the bass tackle untill i gave it a shot. half the fun of fishing is trying new stuff, experimenting with gear and not getting stuck in a rut of doing the same thing, the same way in the same places all the time. JMHO. by the way, participating in this site is another way of learning different methods and tools that are unfamiliar to us texans. i love to visit fl, we try to make a extended trip every other year. great site!
