Default Early Scalloping locations?

Hey Guys/Gals

Looking for some help with a place to to try and find some scallops next week. Was going around Blacks Island and general South area of St Joe's Bay. PM if know of a decent place I might try.

Default RE: Early Scalloping locations?

Did you make it over to St Joe?

I went over the weekend and found the big ones left over from last year in deeper water (6' range). I was southwest of the island. We got our limits both days with only the really big ones.

This year's crop is plentiful, but still pretty small. I saw them everywhere, but especially in shallow water around waist deep.

I went over the Port St Joe's last year and did some scalloping for the first time. It was fun but I didn't get any of the big ones. Had a blast and plan to go back again this year.
