Crappie Jigs for Flounder
The Flounder are starting to move but it seems like all of them are shorts and can't really connect with them very well on jigs with 3 or 4 inch paddle tails. So this morning I tried out crappie jigs and Crappie Maxx tripple ripple grubs I picked up at BPS yesterday and they worked great. Now I just need to catch something big enough to keep.

thats good to know Kim. I got truckloads of those jigs for chasing the crappie around here.
I'll definitely have some with me when i come down in october.
What size head were your throwing?

You can DESTROY flounder on Crappie jigs......but most will be pretty small and expect a lot of bycatch. If you are taking a kid flounder fishing then there's no better thing to rig them with. It keeps the action up and they get used to using artificials.
