Default Coming down for Spring Break

Hello everyone,
I am new member on the forum, although I have been reading along for months. I am going to be around Okaloosa island during spring break (april 10-17) and would like to get any advice/help with fishing in the area. I have been a bass fisherman all my life but have never been redfishing or speck fishing. I will be bringing down my boat, so access shouldn't be an issue. I don't expect anyone to give up their honey hole but I would appreciate any tips for finding fish in the area, lures to use, and good public landings to launch from. Thanks
