Default Chartering deep sea fishing trip while at st. George island

Going on vacation to st. George island and taking my flats fishing boat but want to charter a good deep sea fishing trip. Willing to travel to other areas near by to go with a good captain. Not looking for a cheap trip. The cheapest deep sea fishing trips I been on tend to be glorified boat rides. Perfer 10 to 12 hr trips. I want to catch fish

You're a long way from deep water there. You can charter a boat for some good grouper fishing, but that's not the optimum area for pelagics. The bay fishing can't be beat and the reds in Government Cut are fun.

What about driving over to Mexico beach? Would I have better deep sea fishing? I am bringing a bay boat to red fish and trout fish. Just want to go deep sea fishing one day of the trip.
