Default Casting For Kings

I've caught a lot of Kings nearshore and in the bay trolling, and I tried to catch them on a big popper. This year I would like to catch some casting and retrieving a lure. what are some good lures? and, do you actively presue the schools or just drift and until they come in casting range?

Default RE: Casting For Kings

try the Rapala Saltwater Magnum 7" or 9" (red head/white body). i've caught many on this one casting, especially at night if you can fish around rigs. also a good one to pull in the prop wash.
