Default Canal in Gulf Breeze

I am going to be staying in a rental house in Gulf Breeze on the canal the first week of June. The house comes with a fishing boat and was wondering where to go fish and what for.

If it is June and you are doing inshore try early morning for reds, specks and flounder or at nite for specks around the boat docks with lights. I like to fish the pile of rocks by the marina at north end of Bob Sikes Bridge for flounder using bull minnows that time of year. My favorite time of year is the dead of winter for speck fishing in the canals. Don't have to leave the back yard or clean up the boat. Good Luck !
