Default Can someone recommend a local bait shop in/around Navarre?

Looking for a local shop that carries a variety of Mirrorlures and some local knowledge of the sound. Would rather spend my money locally and not at BPS.

Heading down this weekend and can't wait to get on the water. Any tips appreciated.

Thanks!

You have Half Hitch Bait and Tackle as well as Broxson's Outdoors. They both are on 98 on the sound and generally(if not busy) are more than willing to help you on a few trade secrets. I live in the area as well and amount fishing almost daily. Pm if you want to meet up!

Broxons will be a little more helpful if you are wanting advice and customer service. Half hitch is where I go when Broxons is out of something and I have to have it that day. But I always check Broxons first.

Half Hitch is a quality place. I REALLY don't like their hours though.

One of the guys at Half Hitch is unpleasant to deal with. I go to Broxsons unless absolutely necessary. Broxsons bait is usually better quality too.

I had to stop in Half Hitch this morning with a trailer problem. Was raining and they had several customers. The guy working there (I regret I didn't get his name) said they didn't have the part I needed but came out in the rain between customers, dug around in his truck and found a part to get me going again. Wouldn't take any money and just said 'good luck'. He has my business from now on when I am in that area!

Thanks for the info guys. Just finished loading up and hooking up the boat. Florida bound after a quick shower. Can't wait to play around in the sound all week.
