Great, now I need to add Virginia and bluefin to my list of places to go and species to target with my kayak.

Yeah I read on 360 tuna they are catching BFT's in VA the last few days. I want to get to NC in February for the BFT top water bite.

seen it done in kayaks... seen it done on jetskis. seen it all in virginia. The topwater bite was off last year. Not as many caught topwater. Most were caught speed jigging. Also got word that for the second day in a row for the Mid Atlantic Rockfish Shootout...... no fish have been registered. Some pro teams ran as far as maryland

Missing that fishery too....spent many years trolling/jigging/eeling for Stripers and you never know when you'll hook up on a BFT-awesome challenge when all those pack boats are grouped up on a school of Stripers trying to navigate....sheer mayhem @ times....but that's fishing.
Thanks for sharing.
