Default Blackwater- Dickerson City Boat Ramp useable?

I don't live in Pensacola, just get to enjoy this phenomenal area a couple of times per year while visiting my in-laws, and I have found PFF to be a big help in trying to get my fledgling saltwater skills a little further along.

Found a map with ramps around the area. A couple of the ones I have found using this map I have used. I am interested in seeing Blackwater Bay, I've never really been up there.

I'm launching an 18 foot Sea Pro center console. What's the best ramp to use for the middle part of the Blackwater? Dickerson City is hard to tell from Google Earth if it's useable. Is it? Better suggestions?

Thanks a lot in advance!

You can't launch that size boat at that ramp...mainly a good kayak/flat bottom launch. Very shallow.

Use the ramp at the end of Garcon point, W. side of the toll bridge OR the ramp in Bagdad, called "Oyster Pile".

Either will accommodate your boat.

Thanks, Barefoot. I wondered from the satellite photos and since we just pulled into town (11 hours with a 2 year old ) I had not been able to drive out there yet.

Appreciate the input.

Concur with barefoot, our shop is right up the road from Dickerson, I was there last week and its pretty shallow. The end of the point is easy day and the bridge is right there as well for all kinds of fishing. A ton of bait is holding on the NE side of the bridge as well.
