Default Big Lagoon in the morning

As the title states I'm going to put the little whaler in at Galvez tomorrow morning. This will be my first trip not in Bayou Grande. Any advice on fishing from Galvez to McRae would be radical. Thanks for any advice/replies =)

are you very familiar with the area around gavelz landing? I'm asking because I'm wondering if someone could take off wadding and do any good from there. How far and which direction one should go for the best chance of catching anything. Or is there somewhere else one/I might have better luck with my options?( take off wading)

If I was wading I think I'd try the flats near the observation tower at Big Lagoon...that's where I plan on trying from my little boat. If that doesn't work I was gonna work my way to the flats behind Ft McRae. It's just a little 13 foot whaler so I don't think I'll be going to far out of protected waters. That's my plan unless some other intriguing advice is given on here lol.

I know the waters around here as far as navigating them but I'm by far an expert on fishing them lol. Just trying to learn now.

I did have one but it dumped me a couple of times and with all the compromises I was gonna have to make to make it useable, I decided to sell it. I know you were in line and Ox said you could have it but there was someone else in line between you and he.
