Default bait.....?

Im goin spec fishing in the morning! Any suggestions on were i can catch some croakers for bait this afternoon!

i used to catch tons of them at 17th ave train tracks but havent been there in a while. good luck

Do u use a rod and reel or a bait net? I been just taking my bait net but all i catch is pin fish! I want some good size croakers!

I catch them off my sister's pier or any jetty. Pretty much throw some dead shrimp or some fish bites on a hook and we catch them by the dozen. Also catch pinfish off the pier in a cast net.

bob sikes using cut shrimp you will catch pinfish.. they are good size now in the late summer

i also catch a lot of croakers with a net off 9 mile rd going into pace but you have to wade for them.
