Default Advice for fishing the bay tomorrow

I have a guest in town and he wants to fish in the morning. I have the boat, but could use some direction in the bay. Just want action, so we don't really care what we catch. I usually stay on the grass beds, but figure the water is too murky right now for that. Looking for spanish, jacks, or big reds. Help?

i would start early on the flats throwing top water or a popping cork and a gulp...then as the sun comes up catch some bait and head to the pass and make some drifts for flounder/redfish

Thanks. Bait for the pass? Cut bait? Shrimp? Minnows?

There's plenty of spanish near the pass so, a gotcha lure may be included in your box as well. If that not working for ya, there's plenty of reds and jacks (crevelles) around the 3M for some pole bending fun.

Good luck, wish I was planning a fishing trip instead of H prepping
