There is a place almost across from the Catholic Church. There was a jet ski rental there the past few years but they went out of business "Praise The Lord". It is private property but I see people parking and wading that area all the time. That's the only area that I can think you may be able to excess the water from.

There's a place to launch/wade east of the state park. It's past an old abandoned business, maybe an old abandoned jet ski place maybe a mile or so east of the state park. The building sits by the street, it's a white square building with no windows, and looks abandoned. You can pull in and drive to the water, some of the sand is pretty loose, so be careful.
