Default 3 mile barge, perdido pass

I was trolling the barge area today and saw a school of minnows about 1/4 mile west of the Barges. I trolled past them a few times and got the bright idea to stop and let my duster/cigar minnows fall under the minnows. I did this twice and got hit both times. We landed a small ling and released it. Also caught a big pilot and released it, but 2 times we hung a fish and they got hung in some kind of structure. I had to break the lines both times. When I was pulling the lines to break them I could see the structure about 10' under the water. It looked like 3 balls (maybe floats) and maybe a net. There were some fish I could see swimming around whatever is down there. Does anybody know what we were hanging?
