Default 3 Mile/Baloons/king Mackerel

I fishing friend of mine said he saw several boats while crossing 3 mile bridge, floating baloons. Does that mean Kings are being caught? It seems too early? Anyone hear of any kings being caught????

We used to slay the tarpon down in Hollywood,Fla.on the intracoastal waterway using balloonsand cigar minnows.Good fun it was.
