I wasn't able to watch any news after the storm, so I missed a lot of the coverage. I've been seeing a lot of devastation in Panama City, but it can't compare to what Mexico Beach had based on the video. I think PC has a higher number of homes that are damaged, but the devastation in Mexico Beach is total.

Say what you will about good ole boys like the Mayor - but people like him are the salt of the earth.

Small towns north of PCB got it bad too but we don't hear as much about Mariana and Snead areas.

This video was taken a few weeks ago in Marianna, FL. Some of the other videos on the page show people living in damaged homes and in tents.

That is heart breaking!!!!!! Where is the damn FEMA trailers!!!!!!!!!! And people think government is the answer, good grief!

The Feds have not agreed to vote on the disaster fund yet.
It is the politicians feuding with the President which is holding up federal money.

Keep in mind, prior to Hurricane Andrew there was NO FEMA.
The mass amount of people living under the interstates caused the government to set up tent cities military style at that time, thus birthed FEMA.
