But, some long range forecasts are calling for a possible something. But more than likely nothing.

Very likely it won't develop. Been watching it too. Conditions are not favorable for intense development. It might make TD or maybe even up to a weak tropical storm, but I don't think we'll have to worry about a hurricane. I'm also hoping the current strength and slow movement continues so we won't get too much interference with our federal snapper season.

Gulf is still around 80 degrees or less. No himacane...

Latest GFS model has at least a low presser system in the gulf right in the middle of federal snapper season.
