Default Homemade Hurricane Checklist

I think the checklist below will cut and paste easily into an Excel spreadsheet where you can tailor it to your personal needs. It's just something I threw together quickly...


Hurricane ChecklistsFill gas tanks on all carsFill gas jugs (30 gals at least)Fill water jugsNon-perishable groceriesPaper/plastic utensilslocate camping suppliesBatteries AA AAA C D 6 Volt 9 VoltLocate first aid kits/replace as neededGet medicines upTake recent pictures for insurance purposesInventory Boards for windows/attach boards if neededMake arrangements for animalsPut fingers on chain saws/make operational/sharpenBuy gallon of SAE 30W oil for generatorHarden fence and gatesCharge drill batteriesPut fingers on screws/nails/large washers/etc.Clean trailer and pack bearings in case it's neededStore all lawn furnitureStore grillSecure all swingsFlip trampolinen/aRemove tree limbs too close to houseGhost Hard Drive onto external driveGather photo album boxes/pictures on wallGather extension cords

I tried inserting the file into Word and apparently it works 10 lines at a time. The best thing to do is copy and paste into your own Excel spreadsheet and tailor it to your needs.
