I sure hope the hurricane season isn't as bad as the spring tornadoes are. We had 3 tornadoes in 1 month January.

I guess they would of been winter tornadoes, but it was like spring.

No kidding, some of the people I have been talking to seem to have the "Nah, not here attitude" Thus this reminder.... You never know.... better to have a plan than not to have one......

Season may be 30 days away but the water temp is almost to where it needs to be ahead of schedule this year. Gulf water temps are already ranging from 75-82 in the Gulf and the Caribbean is already in the low 80's in most places. With the warm Winter we had with no extended cold snaps the Gulf never cooled down as low as it normally does. All we can do is pray for lots of shearing winds and prepare ourselves as best we can. I agree, it's been a long time since this area has been affected so we need to not let our guard down.

Jim,
If you need to head north for a hurricane, stay at our farm on the TN state line. Fishing is always good in our pond. Trained fishing dogs help land bass and bluegill.
