Default Chartplotter and sonar on Waverunner

I'm looking to find a unit I can mount with one of the RAM mounts on my waverunner.

Something small and something I can mount an in Hull transducer too. I've never used one but I'm not keen on putting holes in hulls.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I would like to end up having a decent set up for Spearfishing

Your looking at a Airmar P79. http://www.airmar.com/productdescription.html?id=3

Then Look at Garmin 4in and 6in Chartplotters....... I've never played with those small of units.....and do not know the cable configeration....if the P79 will even plug into them?

More Research....

Garmin Chartplotter - https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/59...n/010-01884-00

Garmin X-Ducer - https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/530269

Now that looks like they package the 4in units all with a X-Ducer, but on Garmin's site you can click the box to have or have no X-ducer

But when you click No X-Ducer it reverts back to the 42 model.

Let me know if I can help
