Default Calling Mr Kenny Mann

Quick question -- installing new NGK plugs in my 2004 150 yamie -- do these plugs need to be guaged/adjusted or are they ready to install out of the box? Thank ya sir for your time/expertise

Most NGK I've seen are close but I always recommened gaping your plugs to your engine specs. Most of them have it on the fly wheel cover.

The answer is yes. Those plugs are not set for your use. They are just plugs which may be set to your engines specs.

Feelers gauges and a tap or pry and you're done in minutes.

If you use the correct plug, it is already gapped, although I still check them. 1.1 mm gap.

I can still hear the words of my old shop teacher.....You never know if they have been dropped and the gap closed up......Always Check Them!
